MSC Nursing

MSc Nursing:

This is 2 years of course with different specializations.

Eligibility:

Candidates must be registered midwife or registered nurse with an equivalent qualification from any state nursing council.
Minimum educational requirement is B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with at least 55% aggregate marks.

PSYCHIATRIC NURSING

Students who specialize in evaluating, managing, and monitoring mental health issues and behavioral disorders will have concentrated instruction in these areas.

Creating a customized nursing care plan post-assessment and ongoing revising it depending on the patient’s development falls to psychiatric nurses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Helping patients with everyday personal care tasks
• planning leisure and therapeutic activities
• Doing frequent counseling and treatment
• helping patients recover coping strategies
• working with experts in mental health

MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING

This course gets nurses ready to treat patients having surgical treatments. It underlines the need of developing abilities to properly evaluate symptoms, track patient recovery, and provide post-operative treatment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Taking advised drugs
• checking vital signs and doing tests of diagnosis.
• keeping accurate medical records
• running oxygen tanks, catheters, feeding tubes, etc., medical equipment
• overseeing surgical dressings and wound treatment

OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY NURSING

Nurses undergoing this program learn to provide women prenatal, postnatal, and reproductive healthcare. It offers rich understanding of women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, and delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting standard reproductive health tests
• Teaching about choices for fertility and birth control
• Taking care both before and after birth.
• Getting required immunizations
• Tracking newborn and mother’s health
• working with other nurses and gynecologists

PAEDIATRIC NURSING
